Mary Baker Eddy writes, “Posterity will have the right to demand that Christian Science be stated and demonstrated in its godliness and grandeur, — that however little be taught or learned, that little shall be right. Let there be milk for babes, but let not the milk be adulterated. Unless this method be pursued, the Science of Christian healing will again be lost, and human suffering will increase.” (“Retrospection and Introspection,” p. 61)

Mr. Stanley C. Larkin, prior to his passing in November of 2001, was preparing to publish a compilation of articles by Nellie B. Mace from the early Christian Science periodicals illustrating the clear teaching of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. He felt that this inspiring example would show the distinct difference between Christian Science as taught by her and the teaching that has replaced it in the Movement today.

We sometimes hear it said that students of Christian Science should study only the latest articles from “The Christian Science Journal” and “Sentinel,” and that they ought to avoid reading articles found in the early volumes of these periodicals. The fact remains, however, that students who are seeking a deeper understanding of Christian Science will find rich treasures among these early writings. There is much to be gained from the insight and inspiration of Mrs. Eddy’s faithful disciples, — such as Judge Septimus J. Hanna, Mrs. Annie M. Knott, and Mrs. Nellie B. Mace.

Consider placing an order for yourself, and as gifts for family and friends. The links below include excerpts from “Articles on Christian Science by Nellie B. Mace” that give an indication of the inspiration awaiting the reader.

Mr. Larkin dedicated his life to preserving and promulgating Mrs. Eddy’s teaching and her place as the representative of the Christ in the Second Advent. He organized the Christian Science Endtime Center to disseminate this teaching to the world. It is now our collective duty and privilege to continue this work.
